Marshall G. Eichenauer, Jr., CIMA®

Owner and Founding Partner

Marshall graduated in 1983 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance. In 2006 he completed the IMCA Certified Investment Management Analyst Program at the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.

He spent the first ten years of his professional career working in the Home Building industry where he gained an invaluable education in real estate through the various positions he held, including Project Manager and Vice President of land acquisition.

In 1993, Marshall turned to a career in Finance and began working for Shearson Lehman Brothers (later purchased by SmithBarney). During his tenure, Marshall was consistently ranked one of the most successful advisors amongst his peers. In 1996 he moved to PaineWebber (later purchased by UBS Financial Services, Inc.), where he would spend the next 13 years and eventually be named a Senior Vice President-Investments and a member of the prestigious Presidents Club.

With a strong belief that clients deserved more than what they were getting from the large Wall Street firms, Marshall formed Sagent Wealth Management in 2008. Here, he devotes himself to making sure clients receive exemplary service and honest, timely and sound financial advice.

When not working, Marshall is a full time husband and father to three wonderful children. He is an avid mountain and road bike rider. In the winter months, Marshall volunteers with the National Ski Patrol, an organization that provides first aid to injured snow skiers and snowboarders. He is an active member of the Laguna Art Museum where he served as Treasurer from 2009 until 2012. He also volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America as the leader of the Cub Scout program at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano, California.
